The house has just been waterproof, blistering, different colors and cracking. How to deal with it? Today I will tell you the reasons and solutions:

1、 Poor bonding with base course

Specific phenomenon: the coating and the base course are not adhered or foamed, or the bonding force is not enough

Prevention measures:

1. The base course must be cleaned

2. Check the strength of the base course without sanding, peeling and loosening

3. The water-soluble coating shall be free of open water

4. Solvent based paint base must be dry

5. Primer must be used for the first coat of paint

2、 Uneven thickness

Specific phenomenon: uneven thickness after coating film forming

Prevention measures:

1. The base must be flat without holes

2. It must be painted in several times

3. The consistency of paint shall be adjusted according to time and place

3、 Get a pimple

Specific phenomenon: there are bumps in the coating, and the coating contains small particles after coating construction

Prevention measures:

1. Paint that has expired or has been used for a long time after mixing shall not be used

2. The manual mixing or mechanical mixing of two-component materials is not in place. Pay attention to the inspection of mixing materials

3. Use unclean bucket for mixing, and pay attention to the cleaning of mixing bucket

4. Incorrect proportioning, should be correct proportioning

4、 Coating delamination

Specific phenomenon: after the film is formed in the film construction, the film is layered, or there are bubbles between the films

Prevention measures:

1. In the process of film forming by layers, the cleaning before each layer of construction is not in place

2. The previous waterproof membrane is not completely dry

5、 Slow drying speed

Specific reasons: the drying speed of one component acrylic paint is relatively slow because it volatilizes into a film through water, and high humidity and low temperature environment hinder the volatilization of water in the paint

Prevention measures:

1. Strengthening indoor ventilation conditions can be more conducive to the exertion of moisture

2. Thin coating and multilateral coating are more conducive to the volatilization of water. During construction, it is necessary to wait until each coat of film is dry

3. Use cement-based paint for construction, or use other waterproof paint

6、 After the completion of waterproof construction, the film cracks

Specific reasons:

1. The base course is not cleaned and there is a lot of floating soil

2. The coating is too thick at one time, resulting in uneven volatilization of water during the drying process of the coating, resulting in cracking of the coating

3. In outdoor construction, the external conditions are windy and other weather, which is easy to cause cracking

Prevention measures:

1. Before construction, the floating soil of the base course shall be removed, and the base course shall be treated with paint primer. The method of multiple thin brushing shall be adopted

2. Avoid construction outdoors in windy weather

7、 Tofu dregs formed in waterproof coating

Specific reasons: the excessive amount of water added to the coating leads to the separation of liquid and powder of the coating, and the powder sinks, like bean curd residue

Prevention and control measures: control the amount of water added, and mix the proportion strictly according to the product instructions.
