Household waterproof must be paid attention to in household decoration. If the selected waterproof materials are unqualified or the construction is not standardized, leakage will occur within twoorthree years. Professionals should pay attention to "Six skills and nine details" when purchasing and constructing waterproof materials.

Six Skills:

1、 Select brand products with high popularity, good reputation, high degree of anti-counterfeiting and international quality system certification.

2、 The waterproof part shall be comprehensive, and the basement floor and all walls shall be treated with waterproof and moisture-proof treatment.

3、 The thickness of waterproof layer shall be sufficient.

4、 The construction process should be careful: the joints between the wall and the ground, internal and external corners, water pipes, floor drains and sanitary ware, and the chiseled trenches where the cold and heat pipes are laid are the key waterproof parts.

5、 Closed water test after completion: after the completion of construction, seal the door and water outlet, store water indoors for 24 hours, and check whether there are leakage points.

6、 If leakage is found, it shall be remedied in time.

IX. details:

1、 Waterproof, anticorrosive and antirust materials shall be selected for the ceiling.

2、 Ground: be sure to waterproof before paving tiles; Ensure that the brick surface has a drainage slope (generally about 1%) and the slope faces the floor drain; After paving, the closed water test must be conducted for at least 24 hours; When paving the floor tiles, pay attention to the joint and alignment with the wall tiles to ensure the overall feeling.

3、 Wall: the wall tiles shall also be waterproof, and the tiles shall be flat and aligned with the floor tiles; At the outlet of water supply pipeline, the cut of ceramic tile shall be small to ensure perfect appearance.

4、 Door: the door boundary should be slightly higher than the inside of the bathroom; The gap with the ground shall be large to facilitate air return; If it is a sliding door, a waterproof layer shall be made between the door and the floor tile.

5、 Circuit laying: waterproof tape and insulating tape must be wrapped around the wire joints; The wire body must be sheathed with flame retardant tubes; All switches and sockets must have moisture-proof boxes.

6、  Waterway reconstruction: it is better not to make too big changes to the water supply and drainage lines.

7、 Sanitary ware installation: it is best to measure the distance between the drainage holes before decoration and select the sanitary ware according to the size; The toilet should be sealed with toilet mud first, and then fixed with expansion screw or glass glue to facilitate repair in case of blockage.

8、 Ventilation: the exhaust fan must be equipped with a reverse gate to prevent the back flow of dirty air.

9、 Greening: choose potted plants that are shade resistant and wet loving to add vitality.
